Yesterday I Was A Star | Book Jacket

This book cover is for my own short story, and it took me a week to decide the design I would place on the cover. After a few sketches for initial ideas, I came up with the concept of making the sun look like it had a crescent moon in it, and when I transferred the idea from paper to photoshop, the design came to life. I think that the cover is simplistic, but multiple other printed book covers have a similar design 'idea.'
